Breast enlargement is one of the most popular procedures within the plastic surgery portfolio. It is chosen by women of all age groups to help achieve their dream look. In our clinics, we have specialists in the field with over 20 years of practice who will personally advice you on how to approach your surgery and what kind of implants to choose.

Breast enlargement is for women, who are not satisfied with their breast size, have asymmetry problems, or dropping breasts. Women after breast enlargement become more self-confident, and gain a new life perspective. The enlargement is done by inserting silicone implants in a way agreed with the surgeon prior to the operation.

Before the operation The procedure is done under general anaesthesia with 1-2 days of hospitalization. All pre-op checks are required including a baseline mammogram of the breasts. In patients older than 35 years old lung and hearth scan will also be required No food or drink is to be consumed at least 8 hours before the surgery.

Procedure Breast enlargement is performed under general anaesthesia. A special implant is put under the mammary gland or under the pectoral muscle (if allowed by the anatomic built). This implant is of anatomical shape of the breast. The access is provided by about 5 cm long cut in the groove under the breast. The produced scar is very gentle and after surgical laser operation practically invisible. Another possibility of how to insert the implant is under the nipple or from under the armpit. The surgeon suggests these procedures during the consultation before the operation.

After the operation After the surgery, the whole chest is fixed by soft bandage. The patient wears a support bra for 6 weeks after the surgery and for 1-2 month no sport activities should be performed since the implants tend to move upwards. In the first week after the enlargement, bed rest is recommended. From the second week you can follow your everyday routine. Radiation or sun beds is strictly prohibited for at least 2 months.
